A Semester in Marketing Management Group with Chinglin Lee

“Not all learning happens in a classroom, and not all of your experiences will come from being on campus.”

I extremely agree and I am certain that Professor Pietro do so too. As a transferred student, the time spent in this course is one of the most significant periods in my academic studies. There are full of excitements and challenges and I have overcome and rise above each and every one of them.

This semester, I am a part of Team Namo with 9 other team members. As a team member and not the team leader, I feel much relieved and less pressured. I am much more organized and happy as I feel much more confident in my decisions. With my contributions and performances to this course, I can say that I am very responsible in my assigned tasks and productive in helping the team with my best effort.

Ever since the breakthrough of COVID — 19, we have spent all our classes and projects online from the very beginning to the end. Although, nothing has stopped us from learning and improving ourselves. We did faced some time-management and connectivity issues, but we are all willing to go through this journey as a team. Not only have we stimulate new perspectives, we have also ensure to spend every opportunity to gain greater experiences and clarities.

As a team, we have accomplished numerous achievements including analyses of PESTEL for Banpu and SOW, generate Lotus’s advertisement idea, and suggest a new product for Singha that we’re currently doing. We have bonded with new people while understanding more about Marketing and team works, and also have the opportunity to learn and experience how companies operate from company managers.

At the end of the semester, I expect to make better decisions, know ways to influence people’s thinkings and decisions, improve skills on data gathering, and lastly, know how to apply marketing skills in the digital world. Right now I have already acommplished half of this goal and it was more than worth it!
